Responsible for managing submissions on mechanics of materials with emphasis on damage, composites and machine learning. I will soon be organising a special  issue in mechanics of composite materials,  please stay tuned. Link to the Journal

Responsible for managing the undergraduate aerospace engineering programmes. I chair the Programme Management Committee, and the Student-Staff Liaison Committee, while working jointly with academics in the department for succesful delivery of the programme.

In my role as the Admissions Tutor, I have actively coordinated two admissions exercises (2020 and 2021). As part of the role, I organised student-targeted outreach events and delivered talks to school students in the UK, one of which included a TEDx talk (TEDxYouth@AvenidaMaisonnave) on aerospace engineering to school students.

Fellow is the highest grade attainable and is bestowed upon those in the profession of aeronautics or aerospace who have made outstanding contributions in an aerospace or aerospace-related profession.

Responsible for co-organising the focus symposium on integrated computational and experimental approach to analysis and design of ceramics and their composites. This year, we are celebrating the 50th Jubilee Year and we invite abstracts for submission.  Link to Conference website

Successfully conducted the first Mechanics and Machine Learning Workshop (M2L) workshop in London with academics from EPFL, City, University of Florida presenting on ML for friction, fluid modelling, composites, and materials design. The 2nd edition is currently scheduled for July 2025.

Responsible for organising the 10th International Conference on "Advanced Inorganic Particulates and Fibre Composites for Structural and Thermal Management Applications"
